Mary’s voracious love for reading birthed a desire to write inspirational Christian literature, gospel musical plays, movie scripts, and songs. Her passion is to help provide strong God-centered writing for the Christian community, focusing on love, faith, trust, hope, and encouragement. Mary has a strong desire to inspire, motivate, and entertain a multicultural diverse group of people by encouraging and challenging them to live in God's abundance rather than settling for less than the absolute best. She consistently desires to cultivate an on-going collaboration with God as the focal point, creating something that is not spiritually redundant but spiritually renewed. She is a passionate and dedicated artist and educator.
Mary is a singer, songwriter, speaker, worshipper, writer, educator, and pastor on her Bread of Life International Worship Center’s churches pastoral team.
She has performed her original poems and spoken words at different open mic and artistic expression events/venues such as: Underground 101, Cafe S.O.U.L, and W.A.R's Summer Vibes.
Along with her love for writing poetry she enjoys writing songs. In 2008, Mary wrote a song, entitled, “Cherish the Moment” as a tribute for her mom who died from breast cancer on October 22nd of that same year, and has received accolades after presenting this vocal tribute. This year her first book is slated to come out with the same song title.
Theme Scripture: “Transformed to fit God’s standard.” Romans 12:1-2
